ERGOTEM S.A has been selected by the Naval Facilities Engineering Systems Command-NAVFAC (United States Navy’s engineering systems command) to execute the project, including the following, main, works:

  • Construction of a 50 Hz primary (11 kV) and secondary (400 V) electrical underground distribution systems at Logistic Support Area (LSA) and Flight Line at Isa Air Base in Bahrain
  • Construction of a 60 Hz 120/208V in the Flight Line area

LSA is currently served by a mixture of generator and shore power, and Flight Line is fully served by generators. The goal of the P-993 project is to remove the dependency on generator power at LSA and Flight Line.

Due to confidentiality reasons, further details/photos of the project are not to be published at this early stage of the project.
