ERGOTEM S.A. signs contract for Kozani District Heating Interconnection Pipeline Project
ERGOTEM S.A. has signed a contract with the Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Kozani (DEYAK) for the construction of the project “Transmission Pipelines and Interconnection of the Kozani District Heating System with the Unified District Heating Network of Western Macedonia.”
The project, with a total budget of €22.68 million, includes the construction of new underground district heating transmission pipelines connecting the Kardia Power Plant facilities with the central district heating installations of Kozani.
The scope of works involves the installation of pre-insulated steel pipelines compliant with EN 253:2019, with nominal diameters DN700/DN900, DN600/DN800 and DN450/DN630, and a total trench length of approximately 17 km, as well as the construction of a new booster pumping station in the Drepano area.
The project represents a critical energy infrastructure for the reliable operation of western Macedonia’s district heating system.
